Database Development
DBST will work on your projects either onsite, at our office or use a
combination of onsite and offsite work. DBST is within easy driving distance
of the Twin Cities and most metro areas in Wisconsin and Iowa. A project for
Organic Valley was done mostly via email with only periodic meetings. A
project for Best Power was done primarily onsite because of the complexity
of the application and the amount of data that needed to migrate to the new
application from an old flat file system.
For new projects DBST will use a
CASE tool during the design phase to build a graphical representation of the
system. The ER diagram that results from this design phase is an excellent tool
for both communication and documentation.
For existing projects a CASE tool is
used whenever possible to reverse engineer a database and then start looking at
revision or extension options. You can email
DBST at:
gmw@dbst.com or call: (507) 896-4488 and
Gary will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the services
offered by DBST.
